IIHS Top Safety Ratings

Safety is a huge factor for any vehicle. The roads can be a dangerous place, and we all want to keep ourselves, our families, our friends and other motorists as safe as possible. This is why the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) provides safety ratings for vehicles so that as the driver, you can get an idea as to which vehicles will protect you, your loved ones, and others the best.

Recently, it was announced that two Honda vehicles earned Top Safety Pick ratings, while three more earned Top Safety Pick + awards. That is the highest safety rating offered by IIHS. All five models earned the top GOOD score in the Institute’s small overlap front crash test and updated side crash test, which involves over 80 percent more crash energy than what was created by the original test.
